dream boutique

When I grow up I want to run my own boutique.  It would have cute clothes and fashionable accessories.  A lot of it I would make myself.  Here are some things that I made that maybe you would like to try:

                                                            sparkle shirt

First find a plain shirt. Then get fake gems and ribbon [anything sparkly].If you have fabric glue,that would be great! If not,hot glue would do fine. Slide a hard paper through the shirt.  Finally, glue them on the shirt any way you like. Maybe you could make a design of a collar. Glamorous!

                                     
                                                           SHOES!

Get shoes that need customizing. Find toms or other shoes like that. Attach Velcro to the shoes with fabric glue.Find cool stickers or buttons and attach Velcro to them.  Mix and match different buttons on the shoes. Cute!


                                                         acorn necklace

Find an acorn or two, some string, and maybe even some nail polish.

 Take off  the top and wash the acorn.  If you want it to look more graphic, paint the acorn with nail polish.  You could paint it two toned or both pieces the same color.  Once they are dry, put hot glue in the acorn cap.  Carefully place the bottom half back with the string inside. Let dry and enjoy a fun fall accessory.

This is a fun project to do as a family!

I like both the natural look and the fun graphic look.

And when you are done you can paint your nails to match!!!
